The Trust works across several areas to protect and celebrate Arran's built environment.
Planning Watch
We monitor planning procedures on the island and submit comments or objections where appropriate. We advocate good design in new buildings, especially the domestic housing Arran greatly needs, so that new development meets modern needs while respecting the character of the island, its villages and its landscape.
